"they can't keep up with the demand for M9's and Leica glass!" No matter how much "bit***ching" happens they are flat to the floor as hard as they can go in production ! And they are picking-up speed and orders faster than ever perceived. Dr. ted :-) Now if I could only win the lottery! ;-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Geoff Hopkinson" <hopsternew at gmail.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Tuesday, August 16, 2011 4:18 PM Subject: [Leica] Leica lens production >A member of the German part of the L Camera Forum posted this link to an > article from a local Wetzlar journal > < > http://www.mittelhessen.de/lokales/topnews_aus_mittelhessen/543458_11-Jaehrige_fordert_Leica-Chef.html >> > > I just used Google to translate the general meaning and content for > myself. > If you are a shareholder you got some good news I guess. > > One rather startling bit of information is that Leica Camera were > completing > all of 63 lenses a day, now ramped up to 120 with plans to increase that > to > 240 lenses. > That would be M and S together > These are tiny tiny numbers.
