If I could only afford one or two Modular Telyt's, or the 280/2.8 and a converter... ;) It is getting harder to focus the 560 these days, and it is not tripod friendly with its weight all forward. I do love the R8DMR, but I have to look for another in case it dies. ;( gene ----- Original Message ----- From: afirkin at afirkin.com To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Sunday, August 14, 2011 1:26:18 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: Re: [Leica] Thinking about a D700 or D7000 long reply IMGs > How did Jay and Howard confirm this? Not all failures, though you might guess I would have burnt a LOT of film if I had been trying in the old days. The last Albatross was my 25th attempt I think. I start with what makes the DMR wonderful: colour palette, and there are 5 'birds' to follow: http://tinyurl.com/3ofz7oz Cheers Alastair _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
