I loved the light when I was taking the shot. The sun was just setting, or had done so already. Long exposures. I had gone on a ranger led photo walk the previous day and he led us to this spot, that I had not know of before. He also said that a long exposure will give a better reflection when the water is not perfectly still, so I tried it. I like the softness, which is different. I should try converting it to B&W to see what it looked like. Here is another view with a bit more water and less sky. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/sp11/Yos2/untitled-4128.jpg.html It was rather stormy the first week in June, but most of the rain fell at night. Gave lots of clouds in the day, and some really added to the pictures. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/sp11/Yos2/untitled-4007.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/sp11/Yos2/untitled-4202.jpg.html The water was indeed high, yet after I left, it got even higher and flooded many of the meadows. Missed that. But all the falls were quite full. Here is Bridal veil falls from across the river. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/sp11/Yos2/untitled-4216.jpg.html I think they all look better in the large size, so give it a try. Comments and criticism welcome. Aram _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group. See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
