Thank you Richard, I'm not sure what uncompressed midtones look like so I
sent Marty a "raw" scan. I am hoping that he could demonstrate what he
meant.

OK, I just did another "interpretation" from a raw scan. Sorry, I don't have
time to spot and do other cosmetic thing, but is this one better, regarding
the midtones?
