That seems to infer that the conversion in the gallery works better than in Lightroom, because the "what I thought was .tiff" image looks a tad better then the jpeg from the same raw file. Next steps: 1. Convert the RAW file in Photoshop and export as jpeg - should be the same as LR) 2. in Canon Digital Photo Professional (from the Canon 20D bundle) 3. in Magix (xara) Photo & Graphic Designer (haven't installed the trial yet - but it sounds quite good) Let's see if there are any differences in the conversion algorithms.:-) Cheers Douglas On 16.07.2011 21:21, Jim Nichols wrote: > Douglas, > > I have dabbled in this area also.
