I bought the GF-1 intending to use M lenses. However, I ended up using the 20mm Panasonic lens almost exclusively. So much so that I didn't see the fixed focal length of the X100 as any kind of limitation. For me the Leica lenses around 20mm (i.e. 21 ASPH, CV 18, and 28/2.8 Elmarit) didn't offer any better image quality on the GF-1. And they weren't as easy to use as the Panasonic lens. The only Leica lens I've really used much on the GF-1 is the 50/1.4, and it's been a while since I used it. If I had a CV 12 I'm sure I would use that.
