We are getting too close to the old film vs. digital comparisons of digital camera files to digital files of scanned negatives. That just throws too many wild cards into the mix. There's no digital camera equivalent to a good chrome, so comparisons are questionable at best, and that goes for Ken Rockwell, too. Now its like we are comparing one guys prints comparing anothers and neither of them really knows what this "Dektol" stuff really does. Except its a million times more complicated than that and exists as software and firmware and stuff nobody understands. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner > From: Doug Herr <wildlightphoto at earthlink.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Sat, 11 Jun 2011 14:53:31 -0700 (GMT-07:00) > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Another R option > > George Lottermoser wrote: > >> I'd love hear more about this comparison as well. >> Have you hand-on experience with the Sony A900 viewfinder Doug? > > No hands-on experience :( only hear-say from those who've compared it > with > CaNikon's products.
