I do a data backup to at least 2 external drives every week or 2 and these drives are not normally plugged into the computer. Its critical to have at least 2 backups. I had a failure a long time ago and I plugged in my only backup. The failure then destroyed my backup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I always have at least 2 backups. I have 2 partitions on my computer's hard drive. C: has the operating system and all the programs. D: has all my data files. That makes backing up the data files a lot easier. The Acronis program will clone your entire hard drive to another hard drive that can replace a failed drive and the Windows operating system will still boot. I use Acronis every few months to make a backup of the entire computer's drive. WWP At 12:51 PM 6/8/2011, you wrote: >Strictly OT, but I have a question.
