As well, if you purchase a USB external HDD, the (usually) included SW works
really well.  Both Seagate and WD offer this.

I'm not sure why you would go elsewhere... and pay for the "privilege"?

the built software in windows works fine. i use it all the time for both
image and file back up. also have done restores to brand new disks and all
is fine.
