Are you saying that film through a loupe is not as sharp as digital capture ( even an M8, M9 or DMR) on a screen? Or are you comparing scanned film to digital capture? Frank Filippone Red735i at earthlink.net I do have to apply capture sharpening to every digital file - except the M8 and M9 and DMR. Those don't have the AA filter and don't need capture sharpening. I'm scanning film and am amazed at how much sharper digital files are than film.
