Come anytime - these sort of safaris cost far less here than most think, so you need not wait for a lottery win. In Ranthambhore, sitting 4 to a jeep, it will cost around US$125 a day - including all meals and two drives into the reserve (of around 3 hours each) in the morning and afternoon, together with the best guides around, staying in a simple and clean hotel. February-March is the best time to go. As of now, from the LUG, only Howard Cummer has come with us on a Tiger Shoot!
