Nothing is more frustrating than opening a LUG digest and not being able to download the pictures posted. So, I went away for awhile while on my vacation. Nice to be back. While away I noted quite a contrast in the approach to swim wear at various beaches which I share with you in the two following photos (partial nudity follows). First at Ku De Tah on Legian Beach in Bali European Ladies were out in topless force: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Beach2011/KudeTahBareW.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/4lnujov While at the Lone Pine Hotel on Batu Ferringhi Beach in Penang (where we have been going for 40 years ) the Arab visitors take quite a different approach and go swimming in their burkas (no nudity in this one). http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Beach2011/BurkhaSwimW.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/4advtyw It was interesting to note how many middle eastern tourists there were in Penang and how enthusiastically they participated in the beach sports. Despite their clothing restrictions. More pictures on that later. C&C always welcome. Howard (back in cold Hong Kong) _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
