A bookshelf on your wall makes great insulation. Those are my thoughts on this issue. Sir Ralph Richardson though thinks of a similar subject this way: "I've never been one of those stage chaps who scoff at films. I think they're a marvelous medium, and are to the stage what engravings are to paintings." He's not comparing pixels to paper but a live stage performance to a film. But of course its the same thing. And Ansel Adams calls the making of a print like a live performance. A concept I've always related with very directly. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner Photography http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/ mark at rabinergroup.com Cars: http://tinyurl.com/2f7ptxb > From: Jim Shulman <jshul at comcast.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Sat, 8 Jan 2011 18:09:11 -0500 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] FEATURE PHOTOGRAPHY SECTION. :-) > > Don't be silly--they probably have thousands in their e-readers.
