Facial details appear quite sharp, but the highlights in the eyes seem to be blurred. Is this because of the lighting setup that you used? This reminds me of portraits that my late father-in-law made in his studio. He used an 8x10 studio camera with a split 5x7 back, so he got two 3 1/2 x 5 images on each sheet of 5x7 film. This process kept him busy flipping film holders and sliding them from side to side, but as an old piano player, he never missed a note. As I recall, the Packard shutter was self-cocking.
