These photographs were actually processed in black & white as they were some of my submissions in the Digital B&W Print Exchange over the last few months. I usually tone the prints in a mix of selenium & "Lenswork' warm (33:67), using a hue blending action in Photoshop. I have now started using the ABW mode in the Epson driver to get a similar result (10V,4H), while debating whether it is worth spending an arm and a leg to upgrade to Imageprint 8 for my Epson 3885 (US$ 715 for an upgrade!) I actually like living creatures in my photographs, whether humans or animals. I have decided that I do not really have the imagination to photograph inanimate objects in a fresh and original manner. Therefore, you will generally see humans in my photographs, even when I an documenting architecture, if I can help it.
