I say 'apparently' because I left it to run and when I came back it had finished rebooting and left me no visible report of finding anything wrong. But I've still got the problem so it must be something else. Maybe a failing video card? I have no idea how to test for that. Or maybe it is just that the program has got too complicated for its own good? --Bob ==On Thu, Dec 2, 2010 at 7:42 AM, Richard Man <richard at imagecraft.com>wrote: > Right click on drive, then Tools, then scan disk and check all the options > to fix errors etc. > > If it says it can only do it on reboot, then do it. > > On Thu, Dec 2, 2010 at 5:40 AM, Robert Baron <robertbaron1 at gmail.com> > wrote: > > > Can anyone recommend a similar program for a Windows XP Pro desktop > setup? > > > > The Develop Module in LR3 is giving me fits - it blinks on and off like a > > neon sign in a bar - and since I keep all my program files on one > internal > > hard disk and images on others I'm starting to wonder if that disk is > > trying > > to tell me something I don't want to hear. > > > > Thanks, > > > > --Bob > > > > On Thu, Dec 2, 2010 at 7:03 AM, Spencer Cheng <spencer at aotera.org> > wrote: > > > > > I use an application called SmartReporter which monitors and warns of > > disk > > > problems for the Mac.
