Maybe like them the M9 will drop the price when production can keep up with demand, but as you say, unlikely to halve the price when the nearest matches in picture quality from huge mass production companies with loads of high volume models making the profit are still around the same price. In the end the price is pretty well what one may expect from the quality produced.
