It's quite possible that someone already has posted this on the LUG, but just in case... ?? A friend of mine (who is shown in this picture) enjoys wildlife photography. This weekend he rented a Sony A900 body ($2,700) and a 500mm?AUTOFOCUS mirror lens ($750). ?? One of the unique features is the stablizaton is built into the camera body instead of the lens--which means any lens you use is stabliized. Not only that,?there's a little display in the bottom right-hand corner of the viewfinder that looks like the signal-strength bars on a cellphone. The more you?shake, the more bars show. So, you can push the shutter when you have the lowest number of bars. ?? The result is amazing. I took the picture at ISO3200 with the 500mmf8 lens at minimum focus with a shutter speed of 1/19th! I can't believe it. ?? I'm not giving up the Leicas, of course. But I'm gobsmacked at the Sony technology! --Bill ?? http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Bill1941/SonyTest.jpg.html
