Subject: [Leica] WAY OT: Top Gear--ruined by the Americans?

Last night I was excited to see Top Gear on the History Channel...as 
soon as it started I turned the TV off....why did they bastardize it 
with US hosts?  The original is one of the best shows on TV, IMHO, due 
in a large part to the hosts.  I do not see ANY way three Americans can 
even come close to the humor and satire of Hammond, Jeremy and C'ptn 
Slow....

I know several of y'all also watch this show...what do you think?  Did 
you watch it and was it any good?

I figure if we can talk about Scotch, Oatmeal and the like we can talk 
about bad US copies of good TV.
