It is much better than I thought. The key is that the GF-1 is an ISO 100 camera, maybe 200 at most. Beyond that the tiny sensor is stressed, which is why my image (at 400) looks not sharp. But that is a good compromise. I have the 20mm 1.7 (excellent) and if the light permits and I cannot "zoom with my feet" the 14-45 will work.
