Here in the Netherlands we have a similar fungus: the Honeyfungus. Probable edible, but not very tasteful. No consumption-advice from me on this side of the Atlantic. Be careful!! Kind regards Fred. ----- Original Message ----- From: <tedgrant op shaw.ca> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug op leica-users.org> Sent: donderdag 4 november 2010 20:20 Subject: [Leica] Edible mushrooms? http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/leicated/ted+grant/mushrooms+-%23+L1004860.jpg.html This year for some reason we have large groupings of mushrooms popping up in several areas of the garden. And this rather large one by an old Oak stump. A simple question....... ARE THEY EDIBLE? Well cooked first of course. ??????? cheers, ted M8. _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
