Leica Camera just says "* *Some of the SUMMILUX-M 35mm/f1.4 models (built from1961-1995, non-aspherical, Made in Canada). That doesn't narrow it down for you much except that is only the pre-aspherical model. I don't think that there are is a definite serial number range since the numbers are allocated in batches and not perfectly sequential production. Not every user reports a problem with the infinity focus and I know that some owners have trial fit and filed down the baffle for themselves. Not that I would recommend that, personally. But maybe a competent repair person could give you an estimate?
