[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]shooting into the sun is the new black, i think, at least with the frequency I see it in the Urban Outfitters catalog and "W". but it's a tough thing to do right. a lot of shot-into-the-sun photos make me just want to correct the levels. i realize that it takes a very skillfull hand to make a shot look like a flared out snapshot from 1977 and still preserve the aesthetics of a good photo. My best advice is to spend some time poking through contemporary fashion magazines and study, as scientifically as art allows, black levels, distances, & flair. hope this helps.
