There is no comparing the cameras since the m4/3 sensor has 1/4 the area of the M9 sensor and the same lens on each produces completely different views of the subject. Also wider than 35mm on the GH1 (ie equivalent to 70mm on M9) gives increasingly poor results due to the unsuitability of lenses with an exit pupil close to the sensor to the GH1 sensor. The results may be acceptable to some/small prints but they are nowhere near M9 quality. In summary the GH1 is entertaining to use and focus with the Noctilux (but equivalent to 100mm field of view) and 90mm f2 but is too different to be considered as a backup of any sort.
