Making the lens mount so that is has the proper locking device is the wildcard...... Frank Filippone Red735i at earthlink.net I'm pretty sure that the flange-film plane depth greater for the Leica (by around half a mm for nikon/leica), which is why Leitax type conversions work without a secondary lens. ie, the bayonet would just sit half a mm further out than the F mount. So theoretically it would work, however I'd hate to think what you'd have to do with all of the lens electrical contacts and the screwdriver focus...
