All three were later model 3 cams. I use R lenses 90% of the time on my D700; in particular the 28 and 50. The D700 is as it was out of the box. I use Nikkors (usually the 17-35/2.8) on occasion when I need zoom, complex lighting/flash, AF or long teles. I have plenty of Nikkors but prefer using the R lenses for many reasons. These days the 28 and 50 meet most of my needs. Lately I've been using a GF-1. The image quality isn't in the same ballpark as the D700 (even if I use M lenses on the GF-1). But it's convenient to carry. BTW, I never use Photoshop anymore. All I use is Lightroom 3. Which camera body? 2. Which focusing screen? 3. Modifications necessary if any? 4. Miscellaneous and pertinent info? _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
