It was obvious if you wanted to get on these gallery walls you made it much more difficult for yourself shooting roll film. I could see some of those shots were; but they had to be careful where they hung them. Not right next to a glowing sheet film huge shot. They'd keep them in their own room. My own probably hanging shows was it was not always so great to hang a 16x20 35mm shot between two medium format shots. The only reason why it might work is the medium format shots were square's on paper so they were in effect smaller images than the 35mm shots which took up more of the paper. That's film and I think digital capture makes for slightly less of a different between formats. - all now with inkjet they seem to take up more of the paper. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner Photography mark at rabinergroup.com > From: Tina Manley <images at comporium.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Wed, 15 Sep 2010 17:22:46 -0400 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] (no subject) > > Stock Agency with 20 million + photos, about the only choice these days if > you want to sell editorial, Rights Managed photos. > > http://www.alamy.com/ > > Tina > > On Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 3:30 PM, philippe.amard <philippe.amard at > sfr.fr>wrote: > >> Hi Tina, >> >> I've never hear of Alamy, what is it? >> >> TIA >> Ph >> >> >> >> Le 15 sept. 10 ? 20:22, Tina Manley a ?crit : >> >> >>> Check it out: >>> >>> http://www.alamy.com/contributor/help/unsuitable-cameras.asp >>> >>> <http://www.alamy.com/contributor/help/unsuitable-cameras.asp>Tina >>> >>> On Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 1:50 PM, Jayanand Govindaraj <jayanand at >>> gmail.com >>>> wrote: >>> >>> Tina, you will know the difference, but the buyers of your photographs >>>> in the art market wont know and wont care.
