I had expected better specs, no video and a figure for the price tag that would have been the conversion of the US one. I've read 1700 euros for Europe or 1700 dollars for the US ... go figure who's paying for the very little R&D there is. So not for me, not because it is too expensive, but because the plain D700 (not 7000) will probably do a better job for what I want in this price range. The itch now is that I have to sell my Oly lenses. Pity, they were good to excellent.
