I'm looking into magnifier things for the eyepiece as some of the glass I'd like to use more often are not auto focus. And are not wide angle. I find wide angle manual focus glass ok for the current shooting I'm doing. But not normal or tele especially if its "fast" glass. I miss my focas way too often when I do do. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner Photography mark at rabinergroup.com > From: Lottermoser George <imagist3 at mac.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Thu, 26 Aug 2010 11:06:35 -0500 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] New 4/3 equipment? > > I don't even try to use manual focus lenses on the 5D anymore. > Even with custom split image circle screens - it's a total PITA. > Most DSLR bodies seem designed for their auto focus lenses; > and that seems the only reasonable way to use them. > > Regards, > George Lottermoser > george at imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com/blog > http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist > > > > > > On Aug 26, 2010, at 10:31 AM, Frank Dernie wrote: > >> than a Canon EOS 1Ds for manual focussing IME. > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
