It really is a sound financial move by VC. People are selling "ancient" C mount 25/0.95 lens for similar prices but only VC has a ready made new solution. As I understand it, the original 12mm and 15mm "made" the company, but I suspect that this lens and others lens for the m4/3 (e.g. how about if they shrink that 35/1.2 to a 17/1.2?) will be a major part of the future for VC.
