The last statement on this that the head of production, Stefan Daniel made was when he was interviewed by Michael Reichmann of Luminous Landscape at the time of the M9 introdyuction. Here is the interview for anyone that is interested. http://vimeo.com/6344220 What he said then is that they had more orders for the M7 and MP than they could supply. He does note that the biggest demand is in Japan. Very likely they make them in batches as is their normal practice (as with lenses too) and of course M9 production is still their priority. If you want one you can order one. If enough customers order them they make them. Hands up the last person on the LUG who purchased one new????? Anyone?????
