Alamy accepts photos made with just about every 4/3s camera on the market including all Olympus DSLRs from the E-volt 430 and E-volt 500 on and the EP series of micro 4/3 cameras. It also accepts photos made with all of Panasonic's 4/3 cameras including the micro 4/3 series. This tends to belie Mark's contention that the 4/3 format is suitable only for little old ladies taking pictures of children going to church on Sundays. The inclusion of the Epson RD1 is also an eye opener. Even though it takes Leica lenses, the resolution of the RD1 is exceeded by just about every P&S camera on the market. It is hard to believe that Getty and Alamy have such different standards of acceptability. I think Alamy's criterion for acceptability, and the and the acceptability of Doug's DMR photos can be summed up by this line of small print on Alamy's list. "Please note, there may be other digital cameras that can produce files which would also be acceptable to Alamy." The DMR isn't on the 'recommended camera' list and none of my DMR photos have been rejected. Doug Herr Birdman of Sacramento http://www.wildlightphoto.com
