This is also the first time I have heard 5000, so I would be suspect of that number. Note: 5000 cameras at 3 lenses per camera = 15000 lenses. @ 5K each, that is $75,000,000. Assume they sold that many a year.....If they are shipping 100 M9's a day, that is $700,000 per DAY in revenue.... The S2 is a 1% or less number.... Yes, I know Leica does not get to keep the whole retail revenue stream.... just make appropriate corrections in your mind.... Frank 5000 units had been manufactured.
