Kim's husband, Richard, started a portrait/wedding/event photography business back in '05. (I also worked with him in developing his business id and minimal web site) So he had the gear and wanted the experience. I brought my light and temperature meters and directed the shooting on the first 3 or 4 locations until he got the hang of balancing window light with interior light for a "natural" look. I also handled all the post processing, perspective corrections, etc.; work which he also was not familiar with or experienced in. The shot with kim and a client in kim's office was also my art direction. One composite of blueprints with blueprints rolled up was also one of my "creations" So it really was a group effort, between Kim, Rich and myself. Kim and I would discuss tones, feelings and effects without Rich around. Then Rich and I would discuss how to achieve the effects technically without Kim around.
