Yes, OS could be a problem, but I am keeping my LS-8000 and if I don't have one, I would buy a LS_4000 in a heartbeat (I sold mine last year) There is no way a V700 can produce scans as good a good film scanner. If you spend the money on Leica glass, may as well spend money to get the highest level scan!
