All of the photos in my B&W gallery were scanned on it and all of my older Kodachromes and slide film, too: http://www.tinamanley.smugmug.com/gallery/5885005_Vryn9#367425430_KikRj <http://www.tinamanley.smugmug.com/gallery/5885005_Vryn9#367425430_KikRj>I have the batch loader that makes it very easy to scan 40 slides at a time. I use Silverfast software that gets every bit of information out of the negatives and slides. You can sometimes find these on EBay. Right now there is a batch scanner attachment, but no scanner. Good luck!~ Tina On Fri, Jun 4, 2010 at 2:32 PM, Andrew Moore <andrew.nv1b at gmail.com> wrote: > Coolscans seem pretty hard to find these days. > > Alternatives? > > I tried flatbed scanners but have been disappointed with all results I've > seen so far. > > Anyone use the Braun Slide Scan 4000? > > I've love some samples files of scanned slides or B&W, if you have any. > > Thanks > Andrew > NO ARCHIVE > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > -- Tina Manley, ASMP www.tinamanley.com
