I'd prefer a phone call or eye contact. Yet the young seem to be totally into "text" and "social media." The younger they are the more they live with their phone in their hands and thumbs on the buttons. I find it especially frustrating when they seem to have more interest in texting "out there" then having a conversation "right here." And as with this LUG list - a steady stream of sometimes interesting sometimes silly sometimes informative communication.
