[Leica] luggers trapped by eruption needing places to stay?

My son is due to leave to attend a conference in Atlanta on Monday - he has
to transit via Brussels - let us hope it lets up by then, I have been
telling him to reroute & get to the USA via the West Coast (Chennai-Hong
Kong-San Francisco).
