On my setup it's only adjusted about half-way out and it's comfortable for me at that position. When the Nikkor 200 arrives I'll try and see if I can mount the camera on the stock and adjust the stock forward enough to be comfortable. Would be ironic if all this obsessing could have a solution that simple;) If it works I'll be able to use that setup with all my long lenses. SWEET!
