Which is why I'm trying to keep my end of the discussion on my own subjective assessment of the systems I've used. Yet, no one has offered an answer as to: why do the the high end medium format back manufacturers choose to use CCD's? The fact that they make that choice leads me to a belief which is reinforced by my own experience. To my knowledge the only medium format company that tried Cmos was Leaf and the back was a total flop that can be picked up for chump change on the used market.
