I'm delighted to hear that it was indeed a high ISO (for the format). Certainly more than useable. I realize you only just received the beast; but as time goes on I'd love to see how you might process for the high ISO noise a bit. Meaning: how does LR 3 do with it? noise ninja? etc. Regards, George Lottermoser george at imagist.com http://www.imagist.com http://www.imagist.com/blog http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist On Mar 20, 2010, at 8:31 AM, John Nebel wrote: > George, > > ISO 1250; the camera needs light, it's definitely not an expensive > point and shoot. > > I'd thought about the box opening pun since Mark's e-mail on the > 14th about wanting to see a jerky video, so it is not exactly a > snapshot although at the moment one pushes the button, that is what > it is. > > John > > > > George Lottermoser wrote: >> What ISO speed did you use for this photography John? >> The fine detail, highlight and mid-tone rendering appears, as >> expected, breathtaking. >> The shadow noise gives me pause. >> Regards, >> George Lottermoser >> george at imagist.com >> http://www.imagist.com >> http://www.imagist.com/blog >> http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist >> On Mar 19, 2010, at 9:57 PM, John Nebel wrote: >>> In your honor, an S2 box opening! >>> >>> http://www.ancientmoney.org/rabs.html >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
