Very true Jayanand. I have tried all sorts of solutions to try to get a 
small long lens setup which works well and is light. All are visibly 
inferior to the big heavy teles if one wants speed. I find the 400 and 560 
telyts are super but a bit slow most of the time in England.
Overall the D300 with 200-400 is impressively close to the D3x 600 combo but 
a fair bit smaller.
