Yet, she knows she's missing some things on the web and email. Anyone who watched the entire keynote saw many useful apps. (and if you haven't you should) The iWorks suite looks quite useful: spreadsheet, word processor, presentations. Calendars. Contacts. Email. A paint program which will allows drawing concepts with your finger on a 9" screen. Showing portfolios. Reading news, mags and books. Fast web searching. Watch videos Listen to music. Games (the only one that means nothing to me). I suspect they'll sell plenty of iPads. And many of them to folks who never bought a computer (or an iPhone); yet may in the future, as they develop their iPad skills and discover what the iPad will not do. As with various digital cameras - this device does not do everything for everybody - yet it's optimized to do an awful lot of minute to minute, day to day tasks - for folks "on the go."
