Looking at other people's inspiring work in the LA Review, it is no surprise that most other photogs are looking for newer, edgier stuff. I am hoping that my retro-traditionalist approach to B&W will be the newer, edgier stuff :-) Nathan, wikipedia has an article on Salton Sea. In summary - it has always been a come-and-go sea, based on the course of the rivers. It was last created in 1905. In the 50s and 60s, there were vibrant communities. However, with no natural outlet for the water, nor constant inflow, the sea is dying, and so are the communities. I need to go there again. There are many more communities around the Sea. Thanks again. On Sun, Jan 24, 2010 at 8:59 AM, Nathan Wajsman <photo at frozenlight.eu> wrote: > GREAT set of pics, Richard.
