Vuescan seems a bit higher contrast, and edge definition appears not to
bleed the dark to the light.
Overall, it looks to me like there is edge sharpening going on as the major
difference.

As I remember it, Epson SW is not as adjustable as Vuescan SW... so the
difference may be in the amount that is dialed in.....

Personally, I preferred the Vuescan SW.....but I was using Windows, and I
don't know if there is a difference with Mac OS.....
