For $200 they got rid of the virus and cleaned up the PC so that it runs really fast, even though I had been using Registry Mechanic and Spybot. Plus, I didn't have to reinstall my programs and numerous updates. For a new PC, you can uninstall the unwanted software (except for Norton anti-virus, which requires you to download its own uninstaller) in Windows, or maybe use a program like decrapifier. I think that may be the one the computer stores use when they charge you to clean off the crapware. So far I like Windows 7 much better than XP.
