Keep in mind that you can only manually select from Leica designs that have been available uncoded. Of course you can put anything on and make any selection. The camera is applying very considerable correction with any wider lens. That requirement is part of why it was so difficult to make a 24x36 M9. I'm currently on holidays at the beach. I shot a few sunrise frames this morning with both the Elmar 24 and the Summicron 28 (both coded). I can only look on the LCD currently but I see some HUGE vignetting despite the auto correction. I need to open the DNGs on my computer at home before I can comment more. Something does not compute. 2009/12/6 Steve Barbour <steve.barbour at gmail.com> > > On Dec 5, 2009, at 8:42 AM, Sonny Carter wrote: > > > So, doesn't the M9 use the cams to set up the framelines still?
