It had a B16 engine, with ported head, and a B18 intake manifold. The distributor was also from a B18. I think that the advance cam in the distributor made more of a difference than the intake manifold. My favorite trick with the car was to take squealing turns (with Michelins) and come to sliding stops. Except for the 544, I've had all the 4 banger flying brick models.
