Or are you seeing some wider streak from one edge where a light source is at the edge of the frame? The first has been reported by a few people . I do not know what the failure rate is. It is a fault though and Leica have been repairing those cameras under guarantee. You might like to talk to your nearest sevice centre... Solms? New Jersey? Occasional broader streaks from a light source at the frame edge are a known characteristic of the sensor but are not fixable by repair or firmware. It should be very rare. I think this is what Lluis is talking about. 2009/11/27 Lluis Ripoll Querol <lluisripollquerol at gmail.com> > Douglas, > > I have some times a similar problem, I've sand a letter to Leica and I wait > theirs answer. > > Saludos > lluis > > El 25/11/2009, a las 2:11, Douglas Nygren escribi?: > > I'm sure a problem I've found with my M8 is something others have >> experienced as well, but I thought I'd check it out on the lug. >> >> I've discovered that some of my recent RAW images have a red colored line >> going through them. >> >> Is this a sensor problem or did I do something wrong? >> >> Thanks for your help. >> >> Doug >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >> > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > -- Cheers Geoff http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman
