He recited parts of the poem 'The Raven' by E.A. Poe. I met him backstage and we spoke about photography and Leica off course He had noticed I was the only Leica-shooter (both M and R Leica) among my colleagues. At the inevitable book- and CD-signing session afterwards he shouted to the fans and the photographers: 'No flash, no flash!' I was the only photographer, who was able to shoot pictures in the 'available darkness' with the Noctilux! A few years later I met hem at a vernissage in a photogallery in Amsterdam. They displayed and sold pictures made by him. At this occasion he had a M-Leica dangling at the strap over his shoulder. I suppose it was a M7.
